Weblodi’s latest housing project just received a financial boost from the federal government. Webincreased housing costs have forced many lodi seniors out of their homes; Since 2019, there has been a 50% increase in unhoused individuals in lodi. Cities across the state have affordable housing goals that need to be met through zoning approvals every eight years, but lodi has no adequate sites to place. Webof the 3,909 affordable homes for which the city must plan, 941 must be for very low income residents, and 2,124 must be for low income residents.
