Thursday, September 15, the US DOE Bus Tour stopped at Sallie Humble Elementary for a round table discussion about the year-long residency program.  US Secretary of Education, John King, facilitated the discussion. During the discussion, our very own Talented Art student, Anthony Kennedy, added his artwork to the side of the US DOE bus.  They collected artwork from each stop along the tour that week.

Are you ready for an exciting career in the medical field?  Carroll High School's Medical Magnet Program is the only medical services training offered in the Monroe City School System. The programs offered are First Responder, Certified Nursing Assistant, Sports Medicine, and Pharmacy Tech. Applications are taken during the spring semester of each year.  However, you may fill out the Recruitment Form and email it to Shandria NewtonProgram Director, or mail to 2939 Renwick Street, Monroe, LA, 71201.  For more details on the course offeringsplease visit the Medical Magnet Program Homepage.
